1. What are the opening hours of the Shivaji Maharaj Museum?
Monday to Friday - 10:00 Am to 5:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday - 10:00 Am to 6:00 Pm, Museum is open on the all days.
2. Is there an admission fee to enter the museum?
Yes, there is entry fees for the ShivSrushti. For adult it is Rs 350, for kids below 14 years fess is Rs 120, For group of 25 or more people ticket per person is Rs 250
3. How can I book tickets for the museum?
You can book tickets online on BookMyShow or directly at Booking counter at museum.
4.Is the museum accessible for visitors with disabilities?
Wheel Chair is avilable on request for physically disabled persons.
5.Are there audio guides or tours available for visitors?
Guide who can explain in Marathi in Hindi is avilabe at Museum
6. Is photography allowed inside the museum?
inside Galleries and Shows photography is not allowed but you can click photos at premises.
7. Are food and drinks allowed inside the museum?
Food and Drins are not allowed at museum, for light snacks cafeteria is avilable at administrative building.
8.Can I bring my backpack or luggage inside the museum?
We suggest not to bring your backpacks or luggage inside the museum.
9.How can I get to the museum using public transportation?
You can get PMPL bus from Swargate to Ambegaon or Deccan to Ambegaon
10.Is there a cloakroom or storage area for visitors to store their belongings?
Currently we dont have storage or cloakroom facility
